Collingwood great and former coach Nathan Buckley told Fox Footy he believed even an impeded Daicos could have an impact.

“This is footy, they [the players] are guns and Nick will generally find a way in these situations to impact the game.”

Buckley added that playing in real AFL game demanded a different level of intensity of players’ bodies.

“Early in the season it’s just such a high level no matter how much work you’ve oe through the summer . this always takes yo to a place you haven’t been.”
