MICA records highest stipend during summer placements for 2024-26 batch

MICA, a marketing and communication institute in Ahmedabad achieved a record highest stipend of ₹5 lakh for a two-month internship offered during summer placements for the 2024-26 batch.

This is a 10 percent growth compared to the ₹4.55 lakh offered last year. The placement process participation of recruiters like Google India, Accenture S&C, IBM, Hindustan Lever, MasterCard, L’Oreal, Nivea, Puma India, Coca-Cola Company, Titan, and HSBC among others saw average stipends rise by 4.5 percent to ₹1.58 lakh for the two-month internship period.

Notably, the top 25 students secured an average stipend of ₹4,20,072 compared to ₹3,63,800 last year, while the top 50 students received an average stipend of ₹3,48,368, up from ₹3,01,820. “The demand for summer hires has remained strong across sectors this year, with particularly positive traction in FMCG, IT/ITES, BFSI, and Consulting,” stated Indranil Banerjee, Head of Corporate and Alumni Relations at MICA, in an official statement.

FMCG, IT/ITES, BFSI, and consulting firms have been among the most enthusiastic recruiters, reflecting the shift toward data-driven marketing, digital transformation, and customer-centric strategies. This year, the internship roles spanned across diverse domains like Sales and Marketing, Analytics,

Strategy, Sports Marketing, Media Procurement, E-commerce, Corporate Communications, Product Management, D2C Product Marketing, Market Research, Product, Management Trainee, Consulting, Associate Consultant, Retail Operations and Marketing and many more, the statement added.
