Strictly’s Chris and Dianne delight fans with major career announcement

Winners of 2024’s Strictly Come Dancing, Dianne Buswell and her celebrity partner comedian Chris McCausland, have delighted fans as they made a major career announcement. The pair have shared that they will be reuniting on a regular basis away from the glitz and glam of the BBC ballroom world in a brand new podcast.

The professional partnership won the hearts of the nation, not only on the dancefloor but also on social media as they regularly showed what life was like behind the scenes of Strictly. They had fans laughing and crying as they showcased their banter on Instagram.

Now, taking to the social media platform once more, Dianne announced some very exciting news. She shared a collage of clips, with the pair being silly, laughing and joking.

The Aussie dancer captioned the post: “Want more of this nonsense? Chris and Dianne are going to be hooking up for a weekly publicly available catch up, otherwise known as a PODCAST.

“First episode out in just four days and counting. If you’ve got any questions for us, put them here and we will try to get around to answering some on the pod See you all on Thursday. We can’t wait! X”

easing that fans would soon be fully informed, she added: “Details on name and where to find it soon.”

Chris replied in the comments, sharing his admiration for Dianne. He wrote: “And of course we will have to start with a recap of that final won’t we. Can’t wait partner!”

The dance professional responded as she said: “Ohhhh we have a lot to catch up on partner.”

Fans were ecstatic with the update as they shared their excitement in the post’s comments. One wrote: “Ohhhh can’t wait, this is going to be my favourite podcast!!”

“Yes!! This has made my day!!,” another added while a third said: “Yes can’t wait. Tissues at the ready as will be crying with laughter or emotion!!!”

One more penned: “I can’t wait for this!! I literally watched the what’s in my bag video again this morning, and I quite often go back to others because they’re too funny, so I can’t wait to hear what random stuff you end up chatting about!!”
